Nicole D. Hawkins MSN, PMHNP-BC
I have a passion for child and adolescent mental health and have worked in various areas of psychiatry during my 12 years as a board certified psychiatric nurse and nurse practitioner. As a board certified psychiatric nurse, I saw many children misdiagnosed and over medicated. I decided that I could be a better advocate for child and adolescent mental health as an advanced practice provider so I became a nurse practitioner.

I have experience working with ADHD, behavior disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and psychosis among many others.

I believe it is important to teach children the skills they need to process through their difficulties so they can become well adjusted and productive adults.
